UX/UI design and front-end · 2026

A website and product sheets that make technical expertise readable: water treatment.

Context. Amtei installs and repairs water treatment equipment: PVC, PEHD and PPH piping, boilermaking, waterproofing of concrete basins, on-site tanks, for chemistry, drinking water, sanitation and public swimming pools. The company needed a website that clearly presented its trades and fields of application. The question: how to present a highly technical offer simply, so that manufacturers and local authorities quickly find the right service and request a quote?

Approach. First understand the trades (piping, boilermaking, plastic waterproofing) and their fields of application; then structure the site (services, fields, product pages, about, contact); design screens around two main actions — discover the trades, request a quote —; then set a visual direction shared by the site and the product sheets, before front-end development and print preparation of the sheets.

Key decisions. Quote requests and trade discovery on the very first screen. Real photos of installations rather than generic visuals. A short tagline, "Water flows. The structure endures." Every product page follows the same structure: promise, pictograms (custom-made, guarantee, recyclable…), photo and references. And the printed sheets reuse the site's grid, pictograms and amber band, for real consistency between paper and screen.

Deliverables. Site architecture and mock-ups; the built website (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), mobile-friendly; printable product sheets (tanks, piping, waterproofing); a pictogram system; and the visual direction — deep blue, amber accent, site photography — rolled out with the logo and its signature "at the service of your networks".

Outcome. A consistent brochure site and product sheets that present Amtei's trades clearly, with direct access to quotes and technical sheets: a technical industrial business translated into a simple interface, geared towards getting in touch.

My role. UX/UI design and front-end development of the site, product sheets and pictograms.
